Heart Rate Monitor Watches
I had gotten a MIO strapless heart rate monitor a few months ago. It sucked! Worked fine across the apartment, but once i used to be actually exercising, the HRM wouldn’t calculate unless i used to be completely still. Traded that one in. Next i attempted a Timex with a HRM strap. Worked GREAT. for approximately 3 weeks, then the monitor wouldn’t calculate my heart rate for approximately 5-10 min, and once It might, it maysay it was 33. When running, it would rise as much as 120, but more often than not would remaindown at 50 or 60. So I’ve sent that one back.
Now I’m excited about trying a Polar HRM watch (alalthoughi do not actually need to need to sfinishit amethod to switch the battery) however they seemto get smartreviews, I’ve narrowed it right down to: the F4, F6, and RS100. i do not actually need to spfinisha lot greater than $100 and that i truly only care concerning the guts rate purposesand
i’ve the RS200 and prefer it. I’ve had it now with reference to two years and feature needed to sfinishit in once. They replace the battery fixed the screen and sent it back and that it only cost me $12 total. It was just a few new watch within the similar strap for less than $12. I play racquetball 6 days every week and in addition wear it during hockey and broomball, so i’m very rough on it and do not have anyt once had an issue. when you have any expressquestions please let me know. Mine does support the foot pod, but i’vent made that purchase yet as it’s not that i am a large runner.

I’ve had the gameline (think it ismodel 910?) for approximately a year now and that i love it. It matches the guts-rate at the greatmachines at work within 1-2 beats per minute on every occasion. Only when working HARD have i wished to decelerate to test heart rate – it does fine on walks but not almethodson runs. Works wonderfulon elliptical also. Paid about $70 at Target for it. have no ideaabout battery changes, sure seems like i couldunscrew the back and replace it myself.

i assumed you need to only take it right into a jeweler. I remember reading Amazon reviews that shelp you need to, and that is the reason what I’m probably going to finally end up doing soon. My F4′s even beginning to offer me erratic readings.
I do like it once It really works, mine simplyseems to drop readings so much, or visit zero once I’m actually moving across distances. It does a lot better once I’m on an elliptical or stationary bike. is that thisn’t anyrmal, or do I simplylive in a space with a large number of interference?

i’ve a Polar F7 and that it’s on holidayin ny at this time. i myself don’t just like the large Apple however it desired to go to it issiblings. It desired to head so bad that it started reporting my HR as 73 always, rebellion! Before it isrebellion, it worked great, within the pool, running, riding bike. The belt is wide, elastic, and really comfortable; perfectfor massiver folklike myself. i’m a member of the will to Lose 100 pounds club, 38 down and a how you can go!
My wife has an f4 and has had no problems together with hers in any respect. need to be an only child! She’s more than proud ofit, it really works as advertised always.
Obviously mine needs a battery in a single of the maximumcomponents. It does have a 2 year warranty, in order that may be good. simplythe shipping cost of sending it. Othersensibleno problems. i mayrecommfinishyou check out the F7. you think which you justneedthe HR and calorie count, I did too. REI had this model on sale for less than a few dollars greater than the F4, and that i really like with the ability to seem back at what I did on an afternoon and what zones i used to be working in. i used to be surprised how much I enjoy those additionalfeatures. you’re probably only going to buy once, so make sure to get what suites you best, better to have an additional feature or two. The monitor belt is far better at the F7 in comparison to the F4 also. it’s their upgrade belt, that costs an hornypenny should you make a decision you wish to have so as to add it to a diffehiremodel.
The monitors were very helpful for either one of us, getting us to exercise in our zones. Before we had them we were both going to “easy” on ourselves!

keep in mind that one of the maximumPolars have issues ofinterference from other Polars – this occurs to mine and in addition my husband’s. I even have a fewfriends on the gym with Polars and that if we’re sitting next to one another in spin school, we get really stdiversity(very high) readings. in case you are on a machine next to or close tosomeone with an identical watch, you’ll be able to get a fewreally ridiculous readings that seemto leap around. However, should you check your summary on the top of your workout, you are going to seek out that you simplyr calories and time were recorded accurately (should you compare to previous workouts, you’ll be able to peer that they have got been – if my HR was 211 for quarter-hour love it said, i mayhave burned far more calories!: )
i’ve also simplytaken my watch to the jeweler’s to get changed, no mail in. i’ve several friends who bought their Polar HRM’s with (chest strap) at Target for well under $100 they typicallywork simplyfine. You do not want to shop for the super-topfinishone unless you’re very thinking a few lot of stats like VO2 and stuff like that.
